Our History

The Beginning

Living Waters Church was established on 5 January 1985 in Malawi under the leadership of Apostle Dr. Stanley S. Ndovie. The ministry began after Apostle Stanley Madalitso Ndovie received a vision from God while serving as a pastor within the Apostolic Faith Mission.

The ministry began with approximately five families meeting together in fellowship. Prior to establishing Living Waters Church, Apostle Ndovie had served in ministry and theological training, becoming known for his preaching, teaching, and leadership abilities. He also introduced the Living Waters Praise Team during his earlier ministry experience.

From these humble beginnings, the fellowship steadily expanded into a significant ministry with influence extending beyond Malawi.

International Expansion

The church's missiological presence expanded to multiple countries. Manchester LWC was the first to be planted in the UK in 2002, becoming the headquarters for LWC in the United Kingdom. The church was registered as a charity with the UK Charity Commission on 12 February 2004.

In 2010, LWC opened Dublin LWC in Ireland, becoming the first African church established there. The church instantly impacted the city, hosting successful conferences, overnight prayers, deliverance, and revival meetings. The Dublin congregation grew to 250 members by 2015, making it the largest LWC in Europe and America.

The church has also established a presence in South Africa, with congregations in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, and other cities.

A Legacy of Revival

Today, Living Waters Church International continues to spearhead revival in Malawi and beyond, influencing thousands through preaching, teaching, and community transformation.
